COVID-19 Brings Risk to Business
Lake Forest, IL (June 8, 2020) If a depository employee gets COVID-19 while working, who is responsible: the employee or the business? This is coronavirus risk in addition to health and economic hazards. Employees are the chief resource or assets of financial institutions and constitute image002.pnghalf of all expenses.
There are four laws which present risk in this pandemic for any depository:

  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration Act (OSHA),
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA),
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and
  • Workers Compensation Acts (WCA).
